Box Truck
On Friday, March 13, during the largest hydrogen matchmaking event ever (organized by HyMobility and Waterstof Utrecht), the official handover of E-LIONS H2’s first hydrogen FCEV box truck to its new owner, Henk Stamhuis of Stamhuis, took place. Provincial Executive Member André van Schie of the Province of Utrecht addressed the attendees on behalf of LIFE NEW HYTS and Waterstof Utrecht.
The Creator box truck is a front-wheel-drive box truck with a tailgate. This makes it a flexible, maneuverable solution for urban distribution, fine-mesh distribution, and moving services, with a payload capacity of up to approximately 1,200 kg. The box truck is equipped with a fuel cell and has a range of up to 600 km.

The first MAN Truck equipped with a hydrogen combustion engine has also entered service in the province of Utrecht. The construction company Jos Scholman is the first to use it. On March 13, André van Schie applied the official LIFE NEW HYTS sticker, as this is the project’s first hydrogen truck.
The MAN hTGX is equipped with an H45 hydrogen engine and an automated MAN TipMatic transmission. The vehicle is available in 6×2 and 6×4 tractor configurations. The truck has a range of approximately 600 km. It can be fully refueled with hydrogen in 10–15 minutes.
