Hydrogen training has started at Innovam for auto mechanics and drivers. The training was developed by Innovam, Aeres Tech and Hystream and is part of the LIFE NEW HYTS project. With these trainings we hope to contribute to the growth and acceptance of hydrogen technology in the province of Utrecht and beyond.
Working with hydrogen vehicles is very different from working with fuel vehicles. Safety procedures apply because a hydrogen plant is under great pressure. When driving, refueling, servicing, repairing and when dealing with minor malfunctions, it is important that the driver or mechanic knows how the plant works.
Both theory and practice are covered extensively in the training. There is an e-learning as well as a day of practice and theory lessons.
